Ok guys – these pics are bad. This outfit might be bad too. A true GBO moment. Try not to judge me. The truth is that when you’re pregnant, sometimes you’re in denial about the fact that your non-pregnancy clothes just don’t fit any more… as in this chambray shirt suddenly wanted to be a crop-top kind of. Aaaaaand when you’re pregnant, you sometimes want to wear a black tank under everything and pull it half-way down your thigh so it covers your saddle-bags and newly expanded hips. But be warned: if you go that route, your outfit is gonna end up looking like this one. Awesome (orrrrr not so much).
How bout this striped blazer though, eh? THAT is one part of my ensemble that I don’t hate. Ellie Clothing, ya done good. Also I’m in love with these Aztec cardigans. The end.

I think the outfit is cute, but the black tanktop is what makes it a bit too busy. Otherwise, it looks great.
I feel you on the crop top with all your shirts, but at least your button downs close! I can only close the top button on what used to be the most perfect fitting chambray shirt. My bosom has almost tripled in size. I keep trying to layer my button downs under sweaters so that you can’t tell that they don’t close, but then they bunch up. I have to pull a Regina George and tell myself, “Stop trying to make button downs (fetch) happen.”
I love all your oufits, I discovered your blog while searching for cute maternity styles on pinterest. Thanks for looking fabulous, yet keeping it real (ie. wearing the same bottoms almost daily because they are all that fit). 🙂
Aight lady, no one wants to say bad things to the pregnant lady, but turning 31 weeks today and wearing my Destination Maternity black leggings for the 3rd day in a row and constantly stretching out every Old Navy Tami I own to try to cover my ass I’ll say it. This one is bad. Great concept, bad execution. It is the worst when you think you look cute only to figure out at the end of the day you were an ill fitting mess. I did it the other day, wearing a totally “awesome” outfit to work with a top my mom bought me for Christmas, towards the end of the day had a co-worker snap a cell pic to text Moms of me wearing it, only to see I looked like Shamu about to provide free air conditioning to the splash section at Sea World. Also thinking my bright purple skinny belt set it off only to see my ever expanding breasts accentuated to gross watermelon approximations. Yeah. Hang in there.
I love your blazer and I feel you on the black tank thing! I wear a long nude or black tank under everything now and way longer tops! It’s so funny too to look at your pre-preg clothes and think “oh that’ll fit, that was always huge/long on me” and find out, no, it doesn’t, time to go shopping ; )
I love the location & was thinking how lovely! I know what you mean about the vest though & was guilty of the same! I also wore pre pregnancy clothes throughout & ended up with some permanent bumps stretched into some of them! Lol! Ax
