Neutrals win the day again. As usual. These pics were taken a bit ago when my mommy, sissy and poppa came to visit about a month after Jack was born. We took sissy into SF for the day cuz she had never been.
Needless to say, in true San Francisco form, by the time we took these pics we were a little wind-blown. It’s to be expected. Remember how these shoes saved the day though? Who knew I could crush so hard on a simple pair of white slip ons? Mmmmmmright?
Speaking of nobody’s perfect, can we talk about something? I’ve been thinking about time management lately. Is anyone good at this? Cuz I am dying to meet the human who is good at this thing they call time management. Turns out I suck at it guys. Like the suckiest of the suckies. I can’t decide if having a baby has made it any worse. I mean, YES, in that I have more to do and less time to do it in (caring for a baby eats up your time like whoa), but even in the phases of my life when I have had the most time, I somehow inevitably find a way to feel overwhelmed by all that I need/want to get done, unsure of how to prioritize, and jumble headed about the whole darn thing. Woooooof. Does this happen to any of you? Any life hacks you’ve discovered? Help a sista out, eh?

I find that I make lists and prioritize what is most important for that day. For example: Sundays list may include going to the grocery store and that is priority one or I will be hungry all week 🙁 It can be hard to manage time but be gentle on yourself. Your first priority is being a mom! As long as you are doing that and caring for yourself and your family you are doing great!

First of all, I love your outfit. The jacket, fun graphic tee and the cute shoes are amazing! Secondly, I am a total list person. I even put silly to-do’s like give my pup her heartworm meds in my phone and have to check it off to know I did it. It’s definitely mentally exhausting thinking of all the small task I want to accomplish on the weekend, let alone throwing a baby in the mix. I’m sure you’re doing a great job! You just have to remember the phrase your shirt says, “Nobody’s perfect” and realize that if you don’t get it done there’s always the next day.

I’ve been there with the time management! Honestly, it sounds silly, but the best thing I find is taking a deep breath and deciding to handle one thing at a time (bonus if you put the toughest thing first and get it out of the way). Once you’ve got a couple of those things knocked off your list, it won’t seem so bad! Love the tee!

I think taking a quick break is the perfect way to regroup when you’re feeling overwhelmed. It gets your mind back on track and allows you to focus on what you need to do.
P.S. Great shoes!
