Not cool: having the screen of your laptop suddenly decide to call it quits RIGHT when you find out that your flight has been delayed for two hours. Awesome timing, laptop (i hate you). Don’t worry that while my old hunk of turd laptop is busy being all not fixed, I am using husband’s old hunk of turd laptop from college… which is crappier than even mine was but happens to have a working screen. Remember how I never complain about anything, ever? Yeah, I’m real awesome and uplifting and positive like that.
Cool: still being as closer as ever and dare I say even closer to the best friends that I grew up with all my life.
Not cool: when one of those best friends is a 5’10 super-model beauty and the only thing that comes to mind when I see pics of us together is ‘Holy crap, I am a midget mixed with dwarf mixed with a 3-year-old toddler.’ Awesome.
Cool: getting a temp-job to tie me over while I’m searching for other “real” jobs.
Not cool: getting a temp-job which means I’ll have to start showering before 4 PM everyday from now on since I will no longer be working from home. Woof.
Cool: having cutie sisters who will stand next to me while I act like a noob for the camera.
Not cool: diarrhea.
(i’m sorry about that. that’s the only word i could think of right then. and WHY that’s the word that came to mind when i was otherwise drawing a blank? there would be no way of knowing.)
Aaaaaaaaaaaand sometimes THIS happens.
Peplum Tank: H&M | Pencil Skirt: H&M | Blazer: Thrifted | Heels: Thrifted | Clutch: Thrifted | Jewelry: F.21
(what the deuce was I doing in this pic, you ask? again – there would be no way of knowing.
turns out there never really is.)
Don’t forget to check back tomorrow to see if YOU were the Shabby Apple Giveaway WINNER!

I always enjoy visiting your blog!! Awesome outfit and love how this post made me smile!!! xoxo
I think you have the toddler part smack dead on. Never really outgrew that stage, didja? But you wear it so well!
If you had never shown me this picture of you next to someone tall, I would have guessed YOU were tall. Seriously…maybe you just dress well (obviously) and elongate yourself, but I would have guessed you were like 5’7″. Buuuut yeah next to your friend you totally look like a little person.

GIRL I love the outfit you went with. SO cute and LOVE that it was H&M.
I love this look for a wedding–so pretty! A lot of the time, all I think of is dresses for fancy events, but a skirt is such a good option!

I loooveee this outfit! I wanted that shirt sooo bad but I had to settle for the dress instead (not a bad thing though!) because they only had an XS and as much as I wanted to wear it, it would probably be a belly shirt on me! Hope you had a great time at the wedding!

my best friend and i have a similar height ratio… except i’m the tall one! Such fun. Your outfit is super cute! Love it.
FAVORITE outfit so far!
Cool: posting pics of your little sister and talking about having her next to you in pics
Not cool: completely ignoring the fact that your older sister was, in fact, there as well.
That shoes are just soooo beautiful!!
