Layering!
Is that because I like knowing that I can take it all off if I feel so inclined? Maaaaaaaybe. Maybe that IS why.
Or maybe I should stop making myself sound like a giant perv?
K, just forget that whole ‘taking it all off’ thing.
How ’bout instead we talk about what I heart about this outfit and what I wish I could change. Mmmmk?
I heart: that this blazer has elbow patches. Not even mad about it.
I’d change: that my shoes and my pants look like they’re basically the same color. Sorta not sure how I feel bout’ that.
I heart: that I got these pants at a thrift store for $10 and the color is super versatile, especially as far as fall fashion is concerned.
I’d change: that they’re slightly too big (a teensy bit baggy around the choch area and a teensy bit too long. Sorry I said choch.). Also it looks like I have a wedgie in this pic. Probs because I DID. TMI?
I heart: that I’ve had this Zara blouse for years now and I still love love love it.
I’d change: that my belt did this awesome thing where it decided to creep up past the buttons of the pants, so mostly I looked like a Noob trying to wear a belt that was too small. Awesome.
Final Verdict: If I was G.B.O.ing myself on this ensemb, I’d give myself an ‘O’. I dig the concept, but I gotta admit that the execution in a few places was a little questionable.
What do YOU think? G.B.O. peeps? What say ye?
Blazer: H&M (old) | Blouse: Zara (old) | Pants: Thrifted | Shoes: F.21 (similarish) | Watch: Nordstrom |
Aaaaaaaand sometimes THAT happens.
Yikes.
Oh, were you wondering who the two lucky winners of the $30 gift cards to JUNIEblake were?

I actually really like it. Even the shoes/pants color same thing. But if you give it an ‘O’ that just shows all the more reason why I need you and this blog! Checked out Plato’s closet the other day. Wish I’d know sooner about its existence. Definately will make post pregnancy purchases there 😀
Thanks Steph! LOVE Plato’s!
I think I agree with everything you said! Overall, I like it, but the pants maybe need to be fixed up a bit. And maybe if they were cropped/cuffed a little and you left some ankle showing, it wouldn’t look so much like they blend into your shoes! Or it could look even weirder. There’s just no telling.
Sarah’s Real Life
The belt doesn’t bother me, the baggy “choch” and matchy shoe color does. So overall, if you changed the pants, it’d be a G for sure! Love, love, love the blazer <3
The shoe color and pants I love together because it makes your legs look longer than they are. (I know, I know…low blow at your height.) I have watched many Keeping Up episodes and feel like I should be a fashion designer because I know so much!!!! LOL. Anyways I gave this a G because the whole ensemble is INCREDIBLY fashionable. Only thing I didn’t like was the belt.
This hands down is my favorite outfit you’ve ever posted! I love it! Do you love only the skinny belts or do you like wider ones? I think you look real real nice and I turns out wanting to take off your clothes isn’t a bad thing. Or am I sounding like a perv too?
That elbow patches are hot.
Love this blouse on you, and I’m all for a layered look, especially for fall!
