Hi guys! Sorry I’ve been sort of M.I.A. since the middle of last week. Turns out I was so excited for Labor Day weekend (and so slammed at work) that I just didn’t have much energy for blogging. But it’s back on this week baby! Woooooot! What did you do for the holiday weekend? I went with husband and husband’s family down to beeeeeeeeeeautiful Southern California. And honestly? It was just what the Doctor ordered. It had been a while since I’d been down south, and let’s just say that I was quickly reminded of why people get hooked on So Cal. It’s some kind of wonderful down there. Gorgeous weather, gorgeous beaches, gorgeous landscape, cool restaurants and shops everywhere you turn – I could go on and on. Oh – gorgeous people too. Which was one thing I was also reminded of – try living in So Cal without…
The Home Tee
A little friendly spousal competition never hurt anybody, right? If there’s one thing all you folks should know about me, it’s that I got mad Idaho pride. I may be a California resident for now, but make no mistake about it – my heart, my home, is in Idaho. And there shall it stay. Husband has different feelings. He can appreciate my lovely Boise, Idaho – and he obviously stands behind the truth that no one breeds a classy lady quite like Idaho does (ok maybe I made that part up just to make myself feel good). BUT, he is a California boy, born and raised. You better believe that when The Home. T contacted us about sporting their awesome Home T-shirts on the blog, we immediately got in the mood for some friendly competition. Idaho vs. California baby. Bring it on. Not only are these shirts insanely soft and…
Denim on Denim
I gotta be honest guys – these days, my absolute GO-TO fashion staple for when I need to get ready with my brain turned off is the chambray shirt. They’re loose (which = great for my frequent food babies), comfortable, they go with just about everything and they’re totally on-trend. Imagine my pleasure then when the classic chambray married one of my other loves – polka dots! A polka dot chambray shirt? Does it get any better than that? Nope. Nope it sure don’t. And this Old Navy polka dot chambray made my heart go pitter-patter in a way that could not be ignored. It had to be mine. And should we talk for a sec about how these are the first pair of boyfriend jeans I’ve ever owned? Uh, behind the times much? Yeah. I have wanted a pair for soooooo long and just couldn’t ever find any that didn’t…
