Can I confess something to you guys? The truth is that I am one of those people who has been guilty of looking sick-triple-sick at the gym – far more often than I want to admit, in fact. Picture a baggy old t-shirt from girl’s camp 5 years ago with pit stains + some nasty, ill-fitting shorts or sweat pants + some raggedy old tennis shoes. Yep – salivate over THAT image in your mind right now. And ya know what I’ve come to discover? It feels So. Much. TGI-freaking-FRIDAY!
Yep. That’s about how I feel about THIS week – longest. ever. Husband went out of town this morning until Monday night. FIVE DAYS guys! Five big, fat, long, ugly, dark, love-of-my-life-deprived days. Oh, and all you military wives? You have my permission to tell me to change my diaper and get over it, cuz 5 days is NOTHIN! I honestly don’t know how you ladies do it. All I can say is this: if any of you see me anywhere near a box of Wheat Thins, please snatch those things away from me immediately. Last thing I need is to drown my sorrows by emotionally eating my face off. I decided to post an outfit today. Are you mad about that? Summer Sandals
On Saturday, husband and I went to the Zoo with some friends. The ZOO peeps. I can’t even remember the last time I graced the zoo with my presence (cuz that’s really how the zoo feels when I show up – like it’s being graced. Orrrrrrrr dis-graced? Maybs? Orrrrrrrr…?). Naturally I HAD to wear my sweater with tigers on it. It seemed only appropriate. No? Additionally, I have to say how pleased I was with how well my hat fit in.
