For the Love of Slip-Ons

You guys – can we talk about how comfy these Lacoste slip-ons are? The truth is that I’m normally more of a heels girl, cuz when you’re 5’3 on a good day, flat shoes aren’t necessarily what you reach for on the regs. But these slip-ons are making me whistle to a different tune. They’re sooooo comfy. And so cute, amiright? Tommy Likee. And that might be just about all I got to say bout’ that.

Oh, one more thing – my family came to visit this weekend. And by my family I mostly mean my momma, daddy and my sister. Daddy hadn’t met the baby yet and neither had one of my sisters. Have I told you that there are seven kids in my family? Seven. God bless my mother – I honestly don’t know how she did it. Anyway, they left yesterday afternoon, and all I can say is that the departure of family unequivocally engenders the most harrowing type of sadness. And I’m feeling it guys. Right now, deep in my heart, in my gut, in my bones – I’m feelin’ it. I’m in one of those moods at the moment where if I wasn’t so ghetto-tired-exhausted I could vent my face off on this here blog right now. Let’s all be grateful that I want to sleep more than I want to write, because y’all just got spared a bunch of melancholy melo drama that probably has no business being publicized on these here internets and that we’d maybe all feel awkward about later. Or maybe not. Alas, I’m going to bed. And I love you for reading this little blog. I love you for that real good and hard. The end.
