Ya know that stupid thing us bloggers have been doing with our coats lately? That thing that makes no sense at all and actually isn’t super flattering where we just drape it over our shoulders instead of actually putting our arms through? That thing that kind of makes us all look like noobs? Yeah – I’m doing that thing. Try not to judge me.
Turns out sometimes you just want to feel like you’re part of the club, ya know? Ok and I might secretly think it’s a little bit cute. So sue me.
So husband and I have started watching ‘Sherlock’ on Netflix. Have you seen it? I’ve become temporarily obsessed. It’s sooooooo good! We’ve been watching an episode per night and it’s all I can do to force myself to go to bed instead of watching another one. The show’s one con: it makes me feel like a big friggin idiot. Like I’m not an intelligent human being in the slightest. Like a proper dummy. Yep. Oh, and it turns out that mommy brain makes me feel like that too. It’s awesome.

I’m glad you’re making fun of yourself a little, because the draping thing drives me crazy. I think I did it once for photos, only out of laziness. But seriously…no one ACTUALLY goes through a day with their coat like that right? I mean, it would fall off. And your arms would be cold which defeats the whole purpose of a coat! Clearly I have feelings. But I also have feelings about this outfits…and my feelings are that it’s super cute!

You are too funny! I’ve been seeing the coat draping thing all over blogs I follow and I have to laugh. You definitely make it look fab though girl! I’ll have to check out Sherlock!
