Happy Monday Ladies & Gents! Happy Menswear Monday, that is. Convinced the Husband to participate again this week. That’s two weeks in a row! He’s one sweet little gold nugget, that one… always indulging the wishes of his annoying-as-death wife. But let’s be serious – is there a dreamier boy in all the land to showcase these Menswear Monday mansembles? I don’t think so. Now the pressing question is: GBO? Jacket: H&M (similarish) | Sweater: H&M (also hot) | White Button-Up: Calvin Klein | Straight-leg Jeans: GAP (similar) (another hot pair) | Shoes: Stacy Adams Atwell Oxford (via DSW) (similar) | Houndstooth Tie: H&M (similar) (love this one) | Watch: Tag Heur (similar) (love this more affordable one too) Aaaaaaaaaand sometimes THAT happens. Turns out husband and I both have the ‘look like a big freaking idiot in pictures’ disease. What is he doing, you ask? There would be no…
The Weekly Woots & Woofs!
Hi Urrybody! Hope you had a fabulous week! Um, can we talk about that time when I was super depressed to go back to work on Wednesday, only to discover that NO ONE else was back in the office yet? Turns out I’m the only idiot who works at LinkedIn and didn’t think to just take the rest of the week off! FAIL. Woof-TRIPLE-Woof. To make up for my stupidity, I am working from home today! Boo-yah. Here are some oldies but goodie pics from the Apricot Lane Boutique Holiday event that I hosted with my girl Michaela! (p.s… if you haven’t checked out her amazing interior design blog yet, you’re living under a rock and need to change. Just kidding – that was harsh. But no seriously kind of)… Thanks to all who came! It was genuinely so very nice to see/meet all of you, and we had a…

Cozy Sweaters, anyone?
That time when I spent a week in freeeeezing Cascade, Idaho with my family over Christmas break, and all I wanted to wear were sweaters. Big. Warm. Cozy ones. Big warm cozy sweaters. Nothing more. Nothing less. Ok scratch the ‘nothing more’ part. I wasn’t wearing JUST big warm cozy sweaters and NOTHING else. That would be gross. And weird. And inapprops. And I didn’t do that. Ok guys? Also, I may or may not have watched the movie ‘Pitch Perfect’ six times over the break. SIX. TIMES. That’s all. Sweater: H&M (similarish) (also dig this one but it’s not real similar) | Black Skinnies: Ross (similar) (the ones I wish I could afford) | Lace up boots: Forever Young Shoes (love these ones) (also adorable) (real leather ones) | Glasses: F.21 (similar) (black pair, much cheaper) Um, dry hands ^ much? Woof. Also, how much do we sort…
Style Crush: Miranda Kerr
Dear Miranda Kerr: not only are you annoyingly pretty and look like you could pound a daily pizza and still weigh 100 lbs, you ALSO have killer street style… which is why you are today’s Style Crush! K peeps – if you’re anything like me, you’re looking at these pics thinking ‘Yeah, yeah – she’s got great style, blah blah blah – I would too if I was pencil thin, 6 ft. tall and being paid millions of dollars to look hot in front of the camera every day.’ Orrrrrrrr maybe I’m the only whack job thinking that? Either way, here’s my point: maybe you’re not a spittin’ image of Miranda Kerr (welcome to my life), BUT that doesn’t mean you can’t learn from her style and mimic the things she does unequivocally well. Here’s what I observe: fairly basic ensembles pulled together with a few key things: an amaze-balls…
Happy New Year
And thanks to eShakti for providing this fabulous holiday frock. Remember how all eShakti dresses are fully customizable? Can’t even be mad about that. Dress: eShakti, c/o | Coat: H&M | Heels: dbshoes (also sold here) | Tights: F.21 (similar) (also love these ones) | Headband: F.21 (buy here) To tell ya the truth, I’m not real big on ‘New Year’s Resolutions’. I suppose that after two or three consecutive years of epic FAILS, I finally concluded that perhaps setting new year’s resolutions wasn’t the most advantageous goal setting approach. I’ve learned that my attention span is much more suited for daily and weekly goals (oh hi, ADHD), reviewed weekly at church. No one gives you a clearer or more honest perspective on how you’re doing than Jesus. However, I AM a fan of Bucket Lists, so here be the list for 2013! 2013 BUCKET LIST: *Keep a ‘Charity journal’ and make…
