Old Navy Shorts & Tees!
Nothing says summer like shorts and tees, amiright? BUT, what do you do on the chillier days? Cuz let’s be serious – every day is a bit chilly when you’re living in San Francisco. Last weekend, my to-die-for-adorable parental units came to visit Chase and I, and so natch we had to take them to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge. Chase and I hadn’t done it yet either, so it was about stinking time we made the trek! I knew I wanted to wear something casual, comfy, and cute (duh), but also something I could easily add layers to in case it was freeeeeeeezing on the Golden Gate (which…it…WAS! Summer Dresses
Summer dresses are the best, amiright? I mean, show me one person who hates summer dresses and I’ll show you a Shannon Willardson (uh, that’s me) that is 6 ft. tall. Not. Happening. The best part about this little number? It was THRIFTED! Ten buckeroos she was. Not too shabby, eh? Man – Utah (my former place of residence) really was the bomb.com for thrifting. I found sooooo many gems there. Cool: being hungry and heading for delicious Indian food to feed the inner beast. Not cool: being hangry (hungry + angry) and heading to Indian food to feed the inner beast, only to find that you somehow picked the worst, worst Indian food restaurant in all of Berkeley, CA even though Yelp told you it would be awesome. Guys – is there anything worse than that? You’re ravenous and on the verge of turning into the incredible Hulk, and then you think of the type of cuisine that will totally hit the spot, only to wind up in an Indian restaurant where the food tastes like it’s fresh out of a cheap cafeteria. So. Depressing. We literally took two bites before we called it quits and headed to Chicken & Waffles. Now THAT place never disappoints!
