Happy Monday peeps! Happy Menswear Monday, that is. Remember how I’m secretly so sad to even have to say the word MONDAY to you right meow? I do. I remember that. My parental units came to visit over the weekend, and mostly I have the most wonderful parentals in all the land so it was glorious (which isn’t making the Monday-back-to-the-grind thing any easier). We showed them all around San Francisco, which is our current home. (Well, it’s kinda our current home. Technically we live in the Walnut Creek/Concord area, but SF is just a hop-skip-anda-jump away, so we grandfather ourselves in. Cuz we’re shameless like that. And we wanna be cool.) A Maxi for a Mini
A mini person, that is. And turns out I’m referring to myself here peeps. Tis’ true – I be just a hair and a wink over midget status (a hair and a wink? Jigga what?). At 5’3″, this former-gymnast-who-stunted-her-growth-in-those-important-pubescent-years-when-I-might-have-grown-at-least-1-inch-taller thought that maxi skirts or dresses were out of the question for her. Menswear Monday
We’re bringing back an old favorite for Menswear Monday today – Mr. Scotty C. himself. You may be starting to recognize Scotty as a fairly regular contributor to the Menswear Monday series. And the reason for that is mostly because a) I’m obsessed with his style (see why here, here and here), b) I’m obsessed with his soul (he’s an intensely wonderful human), c) the rest of the male population would do well to dress just like him, and so who am I to withhold that from them?
