Let’s talk about how you make a sparkly structured jacket look… well, less structured?

I got this jacket from Sugarlips – God bless them – cuz secretly I got a thang for structured jackets. But let’s be serious – they’re definitely the type of item that can quickly turn into ‘Hi, I’m an 85 year old lady with 25 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren’ REAL fast if not worn with the right thing. Right? Right guys? Bueller? Bueller?

My personal philosophy: find a way to pair it with something casual and chic so that your 85 year old gramma is nowhere in sight.

And what better way to do that than throwing on some studded, RED BOOTS? K there might be lots of better ways, but turns out this was the best one I was able to come up with at the moment. AND the truth is I secretly had been coveting red boots for a hot minute. Should we talk about how I need to repent and change for coveting stuff all the time? No? You don’t wanna talk about that? You think it’s weird that I said ‘repent and change’ on this here fashion blog for the whole world wide web to see, kind of? K fine – What if instead we talked about how I should SO be asleep right now but turns out instead here I am – talking to you, my ‘not actually present as i’m writing this’ cyber-friends (can i call you my friends? can we be friends if we’re not already? k thanks.) and watching a really bad Lifetime Christmas movie that lured me in ONLY because it has Winnie from the Wonder Years in it while finishing this blog post.  Orrrrr was that the biggest run on sentence of the year? And are you officially NOT surprised when I tell you that I suffer from this condition (you may have heard of it) called ADHD? Someone get me some Adderall! K sorry – I’m done.
