Vests: a love affair

So what do you do when your husband is on a business trip all week long in Nashville, Tennessee? You binge-watch Nashville, the t.v. show. Yep. Pretty sure that’s been going on into the wee hours of the morning every night this week. Bad decisions. It’s so addicting though right? Do any of you watch it? Oh that show! Well truthfully, there’s also something far less alluring about going to bed when your other half isn’t gonna be there, ya know? Or did you just puke in your mouth a little when I said that? Is this sob story a little too much? Ok. I’ll pull up my big girl panties and stop whining now. Moral of the story: business trips stink, Nashville is delightful, and I miss my husband. The end.

Remember how I’m wearing like 700 layers in this outfit? Seriously though. It’s real close to 700. And I’m not even mad about it. Fall to me equals layers. And quite frankly, if I had my druthers I’d wear a vest every single day of my life. They just make you feel so safe, don’t they? Like you put on a sweater and have to check for back-fat and love handles and muffin top, until you put on your vest. Hashtag God bless the vest. {Speaking of which, this vest I got on here is from Forever21 (translation: inexpensive) and it’s kind of amazing.
