Menswear Monday!

Happy Monday peeps! Happy Menswear Monday, that is. Remember how I’m secretly so sad to even have to say the word MONDAY to you right meow? I do. I remember that. My parental units came to visit over the weekend, and mostly I have the most wonderful parentals in all the land so it was glorious (which isn’t making the Monday-back-to-the-grind thing any easier). We showed them all around San Francisco, which is our current home. (Well, it’s kinda our current home. Technically we live in the Walnut Creek/Concord area, but SF is just a hop-skip-anda-jump away, so we grandfather ourselves in. Cuz we’re shameless like that. And we wanna be cool.)  We also stuffed ourselves with delicious foods until I could have delivered three-count-em-three full term food babies: one for each day that the parents were here. But do I curr? No – having to work off the extra girth I added to the spare tire region was worth it, cuz we had the BEST TIME EVA! And I already miss them like whoa.

I took these pics of my dreamboat husband right before we walked across the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time! Can we talk about how butt-cold it was? Note to self (and to everyone): summer in San Francisco ain’t summer at all! You know the old Mark Twain quote, right? ‘The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco’, said he. Turns out Mark wasn’t even fibbing. We froze our faces right off. But again – it was worth it. Good thing we picked up this adorbs linen-blend military jacket for husband the day before. I spotted it at Old Navy and it was ON SALE, so I had to get it for him. What are wives good for if not to purchase things for their husbands that they wouldn’t be willing to spend money on so as to ensure that they look adorable? Duh.
