Style blogs are not only for the LADIES. Turns out boys like to look sexy as death as well. BUT, boys who are anything like my husband want to look like sexy beasts without having to think about it, worry about it, shop, fuss, match, iron, pair stuff together… ok basically without having to do much of anything. So we decided that we’d start throwing together some low fuss, low maintenance mansembles to show you every Monday. MENSWEAR MONDAY peeps! Get excited about it! WOOT WOOT!
Oh, it also doesn’t hurt that the man I live with looks like a J.Crew model.

Mansemble. Ha ha! I love it. I also love that you are not so worried about appearance that you post crazy pics at the end of your posts.
A little photography trick for ya! (I learned this one from a pro). When you photograph guys with their hands in their pockets, have them keep their thumb out. It looks classy! Can’t really explain why, but it does :).
btw your hubby is such a handsome guy and so sweet. I love all of your status updates about him. Yay for wonderful husbands!

Oh Chase, oh Chase. Bro, I gotta say O on this one. This ensemble feels somewhat at odds with itself. Is it V neck or is it crew? Is it cream or is it white? This is too much dissonance for one outfit bro. A house divided against itself cannot stand. On the positive, the horizontal stripes accentuate your buffness nicely and you pull off the cardigan like few can.
Wowzers, that was a bunch of made up bologna. Bro, you will go down as a G now and always in my book for your willingness to comply with your sweetheart’s wishes to take these pics in public and post them publicly. You are a true man. And that squat pose…classic!

Oh my. Listen to my husband, @Jason Hessing, acting like he knows what he’s talking about. This from a man who has to be strong-armed into shopping once every five years. And when he does finally buy something new, he then leaves it in his closet for a least a month or so before he’ll wear it in hopes of “building a relationship”. Obviously, you should take his advice with a grain of salt!
Chase, you’re totally rockin’ it, brother! Besides, as beautiful as she is, it’s nice to see something other than Shannon’s mug on this blog once in a while. 🙂
Nolan would never wear the cardi but it looks great on Chase. Seriously what a sport!
Too trendy for my mountain man. He’ll rarely wear anything besides jeans/T-shirt/button-up, or he’ll even wear a polo on occasion…NEVER V-neck, even a cardi I am sure of it. Event would have to call for pretty dressy to get N to want to wear the pants, but I like them.
Love the shoes, think N would too.

I have to tell you – a year ago when Chase and I first started out, he probably would have refused to wear this cardigan :). He’s warmed up over time to the trendier stuff :).
