Well by now it’s no secret that I have a moderate to large crush on DSW. But you guys – I need to tell you a story that made me feel like even more smitten and loyal to this place. K- so earlier this week, I was perusing another favorite online shop of mine, Modcloth. I came across a pair of heels that took my breath away.
You know the kind… where when you see them, your heart starts racing a little, and all at once you feel love and lust and most of all anxiety – anxiety over how you’re going to obtain these heels, because so help me you have to have them! You know what I mean? K anyway, they were those kinds of heels. I had put a pair in my cart at Modcloth but just hadn’t purchased them yet for whatever reason. Then, the next day I was looking through DSW, and what would you guess I found? Oh nothing other than the exact same pair of heels I had been coveting at Modcloth… only for $30 cheaper! Thirty dollars cheaper you guys! Can you believe that? I was blown away. And that was the moment – that was when I knew. I was hooked. A true believer in DSW and all it had to offer.
The other thing that has impressed my face off is all of their knock-offs. Am I allowed to say that? But seriously – their spectacular knock offs! Like these – basically identical to Sam Edelman’s Petty bootie, which every woman needs in their closet, but they’re like half the price at DSW. Or these – uncanny resemblance to the very ‘spensive Rag & Bone Harrow booties (which are a cool $686.45), but don’t worry – these are only $50 at DSW. Are you catching my drift here peeps? Amazing. DSW!
I’ve rounded up some of my faves from their site right now – you can shop them at the bottom of the post. There are so many! Praise the Heavens that my birthday is in a week. Praise the Heavens that these are all so reasonably priced that it wouldn’t matter if my birthday wasn’t in a week – I could still buy me some shoes and not even feel guilty about it!
So what do you think guys? Are you DSW shoppers? Are you fans? Fill me in!

Before I moved to the states and when I lived just a little North in Vancouver Canada, hitting up DSW was the highlight of every trip to Seattle!! It kept me in fabulous footwear all through college. Amazing styles at great prices!
