K, if you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I may or may not have said that I’d be sharing the key things I learned from the Reward Style Conference a few weeks ago in Dallas. Welllllllllll, about that… turns out I got ghetto-tired like 5 seconds after I posted that and simply did NOT have the energy to pull together the list. Eeeek – I’m sorry! BUT, I fully intend to post that info, so stay tuned! Cuz it’s gonna be good.
This is the outfit I wore for day 3 of the conference. We were in classes all day and I wanted to keep it casual and comfortable (a.k.a. wear your jeans that feel like sweat pants.). Nothing makes an outfit pop though quite like a neon bright pair of heels, amiright? This is an old pair from H&M but I linked to some similar ones that I think are adorable and get the job done for sure. Woot! Anyway, the things I learned in all the classes I was in – that’s what I’m planning on sharing with you. It was such good stuff you guys. Nothing ground-breaking in that I had never heard of it before really. Mostly just more details and direction around things I already knew I should be doing, and definitely a big boost of kick-in-the-pants motivation to actually DO them. It was good. I’ll share – don’t you worry. One more thing though – I have to talk about the lunches/food situation there really quickly, because it was hilarious. I swear that because most of us there were style bloggers, they must have assumed we only ate salads and itty bitty proportions or something, because ALL of the food the entire conference was like green and leafy and miniscule. I was like ‘Ummmm, where are the hamburgers? And can a girl get a chocolate chip cookie around here or what?’ Needless to say some cash was dropped at the closest CVS because that ish was just not flyin’ with me. Mama needs her treats!
