It’s here! THE BEST SALE OF THE YEAR IS HERE you guys! Why is Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2015 the best sale of the year, you ask? Ohhhhhh just because Nordy’s rolls out all of the new Fall stuff and discounts it as much as 40-50%. HELLO?! YES people. Yes. This is a thing. Here’s the deal you guys: Beyond just the fun and games of a killer sale and treating yourself to something new, I honestly look at sales like this strategically. Here’s what I mean: *I* personally am not the gal who just has cash to burn, BUT I have genuinely learned to appreciate the value in buying quality over quantity, especially for certain things. For me, those are things like handbags, classic coats, jeans for sure, boots – basically the things that I can use over and over again without thinking twice and that I know will last me a loooong time without becoming obsolete as soon as the trends turn. Those are the things I’m willing to spend a little more money on. And you guys – I did not used to be this way. I was not raised to think like this, but I have learned from my own personal experience: there is truly something to be said for quality over quantity with certain things. Well what better time to make an investment on a staple item when it will be seriously discounted? Example: this beautiful Tory Burch bag in the perfect neutral colors is literally over $100 off right now. Hashtag worth it. WORTH IT!

Anywhooo, the sale is going on as we speak – that is if you have a Nordstrom card. If you don’t, the sale will be open to the public in one week. Translation: march yourself online (or into the store if you prefer) and get yourself a Nordstrom card so you can shop this thang right meow! If you’re worried about opening up a credit card because you don’t trust yourself or you know your husband will be real real mad bout’ that (hand-up for me on both of those), then get the debit card option and shew those concerns to the wind. Huzzah!

To kick off the sale, I’ve round up some of my fave items. If you want to know what my absolute favorites are so far – let me just tell you that my life will not be complete without this Michael Kors two-tone watch (under $200 right now), this Steve Madden faux fur leopard coat (hello?!), these Halogen pointed-toe leopard flats (I have these already in the black and the natural snake print and am obsessed, clearly), and these classic red Enzo sandals. Really feeling hot and heavy for this shearling vest too. And obvi the bags. Oh don’t even get me started on the handbags.

If I end up talking myself into doing an ultimate splurge (eeeep?!), it will for sure end up being one or two of these beauties: Either this Rebecca Taylor fringe silk top (for date nights sans Jack, obvi) or this Rebecca Taylor Fil Coupe top (seriously amazing), this killer Joie faux fur collar wool cardigan, these Rag & Bone Margot booties, these Tory Burch riding boots, or this 3.1 Phillip Lim handbag (I. Die.). Heaven help me.

K and if money straight up weren’t a thang, it would for sure be this Chloe handbag. What. The. Deuce. I can’t even.
