You guys! After all the build-up it’s finally HERE! Public access to the best sale of the year (Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, duh). Pic above is a lil’ sneak peak of how I styled some of my fave purchases from the sale. I didn’t have time to pull together the full post (day job is nuts right now, but that’s a story for another time) but make no mistake about it – you need everything I’m wearing in that pic: the faux fur vest, the tunic (especially. put that baby on and just TRY not to buy it in three colors. I dare you. I bought it in olive, black and white, whoops.), the jeans (can we way perfect distress?), and obvi the bag. Oh the bag – Tory Burch sure knows how to make my materialistic heart sing. Oh, and the watch! Michael Kors, two-tone, under $200 on sale. You guys – you have to, right? The heels aren’t part of the Anniversary sale but they ARE on sale and fab enough that you need them too (chunky heel equals comfy and Dolce Vita equals sexy as death).

Also, here are my picks (so far) of items for under $100 and investment pieces. You’ll see that most of the investment items fall into the handbags and jeans category. Basically the story there is that I’ve become a believer in saving up the cash you would have spent on two dozen Forever21 or Target bags throughout the year and dumping that into a nice, real bag instead. They last longer, they look so much better, and so help me if you’ve got a sub-par ensemble on but you’re holding a killer bag, it up-levels your look by 10-fold instantly.
