Plaid. Its origin dates back to a gazillion years ago probs and yet here we are in the modern age, still loving the crap out of it. It just never gets old! Seems like a pretty genius move then for a designer to go and create an entire line off of just plaid, amiright? Well, Adam Lippes is that genius, and Target is the benefactor. Have you heard of this you guys? Have you heard of the new Adam Lippes line for Target? It is allllllll things PLAID. A.k.a. it rocks.

I teamed up with Target to put together a plaid-centric look featuring something from the Adam Lippes line. We all know that pattern mixing is still all the rage, but I’m not sure I’ve ever tried mixing straight up plaid with plaid. Hashtag new fun challenge! I could not resist these sexy Adam Lippes plaid heels and was shocked at how many things they worked with – including this cutie plaid sweater. I also snagged this plaid weekender bag and this cozy oatmeal hued plaid jacket from the Adam Lippes line. Don’t worry that if I could have, I literally would have purchased one of everything – including the boy stuff (he makes boy stuff too) for my husband. We’d shamelessly be a little plaid family and love every single minute of it.

Here are some of my other faves from the Adam Lippes line: These cute flats, this fringe sweater, this cobalt blue plaid top, this poncho, and this cutie handbag. They also have a bunch of really adorable housewares. And while I had plaid on the brain, I also snagged this plaid sweater in both green/black (pictured) and black/white, and these plaid scarves (here and here). Plaid plaid gimme allllll da plaid!

One note: I’d advise that you SIZE DOWN. The line seems to run pretty big. I was an XS in everything, even as a prego.
