When Jasmine of the blog Chic Sin City emailed me suggesting that she’d be a great Style Crush feature, I took one look at her adorable blog and instantly agreed! With a unique style that is Edgy-meets-Romantic, Jasmine makes me wanna venture out of my style box! Which is why she is this week’s
Style Crush!
1. How would you describe your style?
This is a hard question for me. I would say Kim Kardashian meets Gwen Stefani. I like to rock trendy fashion but I still hold on to pieces that will never go out of style… Like a fitted blazer!
2. Who are your fashion icons?
Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City (even though she’s a fictional character, haha), the Kardashian sisters, and honestly I love STREET style… I’m drawn to the “city girl” look.
3. Where do you go for fashion inspiration?
BLOGS!!! I also go to Instagram and Pinterest- they are both great places to find outfit photos which usually lead me to more fashion blogs. One of my favorite pass-times is to go into Starbucks, sip my coffee and research outfit posts!
4. What are the top three places you shop?
Zara- for statement pieces, blazers, and dresses.
Forever 21- for anything super trendy. The prices are good and I don’t feel bad about only wearing the items a few times.
Steve Madden- because their shoes are beautiful.
5. What’s your ‘Go-To’ outfit for when you need to get ready in a flash?
Loose fitted tee, jean shorts, fedora hat, sandals or chucks, and my Michael Kors rose gold watch! <— I never leave the house without my Michael!
