1.  How would you describe your style?

I would say my personal style is a blend of modern and vintage pieces with a classic yet girly touch. I love timeless pieces that I can wear and re-wear in different ways.

2. Who are your fashion icons?

Michelle Obama, Tracy Ellis Ross, Solange Knowles, Beyonce, hate to admit it but Kourtney Kardash! Haha!

 3. Where do you go for fashion inspiration?

Style blogs, street style, Pinterest, my notebook of styling ideas and of course Instagram (duh!)

 4. What are the top three places you shop?

Target, F21, and thrift stores!! Might as well throw H&M in while I’m at it!

 5. What’s your ‘Go-To’ outfit for when you need to get ready in a flash?

Jeans, riding boots, a crisp oxford shirt, vibrant blazer, cross body bag, and a scarf/statement necklace.

6.  Do you follow trends?  If so, what trends excite you at the moment?

I try to shy away from popular trends and wear what truly reflects my personal style. BUT, I love the color emerald, layering with different textures, and rockin floral prints in the winter!

7.  Why is the way you look/dress important to you?

Because I honestly believe that the first impression you make on the world and other people, before you even say a word, IS how you look and carry yourself.

8.  What fashion or styling tips would you give to women who want to improve their sense of style?

Be open-minded to adding pops of color to your outfits. Try mixing prints and patterns, before you know it, you’ll be a print mixing pro! Invest in quality pieces that are versatile and can be re-worn in various ways. Buy clothing that flatters your shape. Be creative and have fun! Fashion should be fun!

9.  What made you want to start a blog?

I’ve always loved fashion and followed so many fashion blogs that with the encouragement of my wonderful fiancé, I finally got the courage to start my own personal style blog! Two years later and I’m still going strong!

10.  What are the top three tips you’d give to bloggers wanting to build their following?

Develop your own voice and be unique. Build genuine relationships with bloggers that you have something in common with. Communicate with your readers!
