a) Why oh why couldn’t I have gotten my nails done prior to these pics being taken? It’s killing me softly.

b) The pics in this post are hilarious to me. Here’s Chase playing with Jack and looking like a completely adorable, attentive, dreamboat husband and father, and then don’t worry – I’m just over here on my phone. NBD. Haha! You guys! I swear it’s not like that in the real life – ok? I couldn’t take a good picture for the life of me during this photo shoot. Tragedy.

We took Jack to Cream last night for the first time. Wait, do you guys know about Cream? The little slice of heaven on Earth that smashes ice cream between two freshly baked cookies? Yeah. That’s a thing. And because we’re super health conscious, amazing parents, we felt it was necessary to take our 13-month old there. Jack is definitely his mother’s child – he loves sugar you guys. It’s a little scary actually. He’s getting to that age though – that age where the personality has made a full debut and now it’s his mission to explore the whole entire world. Haha. Oh this baby of mine. He’s busy as can be, constantly curious and getting into everything, can’t sit still for anything (another way he takes after mama) and seems to want little more than to go out and explore the whole entire world. I can’t get enough of him. And with the warmer months and official start of summer right around the corner, all I can think about is the fun things we need to go out and do as a family with little Jack. For that exact reason I’ve been trolling for cute summer dresses like it’s my job. They ARE my summer uniform, after all! I think I said this in my last post, but Old Navy is killing it in that department lately. I feel like they have so many cute summer-ready things that actually keep you somewhat covered. And obvi cute things for husband and baby – that’s just a duh. Bonus points that they almost always have a sale going on too.
