You guys – wanna know what all ^ these ^ pics have in common? Ok I’ll tell you. I am wearing a Bellefit girdle in all of these pics. Uh huh. And now I’m ready to tell you my thoughts about it AND give you the chance to win a Bellefit Bundle (which is what I’ have been using… a $233 value!). Let the reviewing and giving away begin…
The thing that initially turned me on to Bellefit…
One of my best friends had a baby. Eight months later, we got together, and you guys – she looked amazing. Like uhhhhmazing. Like you wouldn’t have guessed that she had ever given birth. I was just moving into my second trimester of pregnancy at the time, so natch we talked about how to get the bod back post-pregnancy. She was the one that introduced me to Bellefit and sold me on their product. She swore by their girdles and said she felt that it was a large reason she had been able to bounce back so completely. Enough said. I was willing to try it. And try it I did.
My Experience…
Here’s the real deal: do I feel like these things instantly brought me back to my pre-pregnancy size? No. I’m a long, long ways off of that size still you guys. For real. However, I DO definitely, definitely feel like they have expedited the process of my waist and hips returning to their normal size. I was actually amazed at how quickly I was able to move from a size medium girdle to a size small. It took less than 2 months to make that transition. And to that point, I highly recommend getting a Bellefit bundle, which is what we’re giving away today. The bundle I had was this one, and I got the dual closure girdle in a size medium and the corset girdle in a size small. This allowed me to wear a larger sized girdle right out of the hospital, then transition to the smaller one once I had made some progress a couple months later.
I also love how the girdle sucks everything in and holds it all together. It smooths everything out under my clothes so there’s less protruding lumpage and bumpage. It also makes me feel supported. I’m stealing this analogy from my GF mentioned earlier, but think of your post-prego body as a sprained ankle. You wrap a sprained ankle to hold all that jazz together and so it can go back to its original state and heal. If you had a sprained ankle and you didn’t wrap it, it would feel terrible. Well, same thing with a post-prego body. The girdle HAS made me feel way more supported and like everything is being pulled back to where it should be. In that way, it’s almost more comfortable to wear it than to not wear it. Ya feel me?
How I wore it…
I started wearing the girdle probably about a week after getting out of the hospital. For the record, I ended up having a C-section (I’ve been meaning to write Jack’s birth story and sure haven’t gotten around to it. Oops), so I was feeling all sorts of tender and was nervous to wear it any sooner than that, but they say you can start wearing the girdle on the day you’re discharged from the hospital. I put my girdle on right when I woke up in the morning and tried to keep it on as late into the evening as I could. Usually by around 9 or 10pm, I took it off. Full instructions (in the form of FAQ’s) for recommended usage of the girdle can be found here. One of the things they recommend is wearing it to sleep. Honestly, I just wasn’t able to do that. It’s not uncomfortable for a girdle, but it IS a girdle, know what I mean? That being said, my girlfriend told me that she wore the girdle 24/7 literally for the first 4 months after her baby was born. And like I told you, she looked absolutely amazing when I saw her. So maybe there’s something to wearing it 24/7 for the first few months. I personally needed to take it off to sleep. I still feel like I’m seeing results.
In summary…
Long story short, I have loved loved loved my Bellefit girdles. I am still wearing it today and plan on doing so until I lose all the baby weight. These days I don’t wear it for quite as many hours each day as I did in the beginning. That is primarily because I have started working out again, so I spend at least a couple hours each day in workout clothes, and I don’t wear the girdle to workout in. I DO always wear the girdle under my clothes. Always. I feel like urrrrrybody who is gonna have a baby should have one for AFTER the baby.
Feel free to email me if you have additional questions about the girdles! Also, be sure to ENTER THE GIVEAWAY for your chance to win a Bellefit Bundle!

More info about Bellefit Girdles…
Women’s bodies are built to bounce back from pregnancy and childbirth, but the reality is that it can be difficult to “bounce back” and return to pre-pregnancy shape without help. During pregnancy the body secretes hormones such as estrogen, progesterone and relaxin that remain in the body after childbirth for approximately six months. These hormones are our body’s way of loosening the abdominal muscles and they facilitate the stretching of the abdominal area by as much as 50%, while the baby grows. They also act to loosen the pelvic structure, joints and ligaments to prepare for childbirth.
The beauty behind Bellefit medical-grade postpartum support garments is that they provide a greater stability for the body after delivery. The compression garments work by drawing in stretched muscles to provide a 360° support structure around the torso, thus, reducing strain on ligaments and joints in the lower back, pelvis, and buttocks. Reducing stress in these areas enhances your body’s ability to return to its pre-pregnancy alignment, shape and to lose the post baby tummy faster. As shifted and constrained organs return to their pre-pregnancy locations during the first few weeks after c-section or natural childbirth, Bellefit girdles hold you in place allowing for movement with greater confidence. A Bellefit postpartum garment is an essential part of a comprehensive postpartum care and c-section recovery plan for both health and confidence.
There is more to Bellefit than just girdles though! From modal nursing pajamas, compression shape wear and even prenatal support,Bellefit provides you with maternity essentials that will help you through all of the stages of your pregnancy and recovery.

Ok, I am pregnant with #4, and have learned that my body bounces back slower and slower each time, so I was JUST looking at these on Amazon for postpartum. This would be amazing to win one since they’re on the pricey end! Love hearing your testimonial.
