Happy Monday Gentlemen and Lady friends! Hope your weekend felt longer than mine did (woof). Today for Menswear Monday we got another brilliantly coordinated mansemble, compliments of my brotha from another motha, Erick. Now in my opinion, this outfit is nothing short of flawless. The color combo – perfect for fall, btw – the yummy texture of that blazer, the killer argyle socks, and the sexy-as-death-man-shoes. BUT, what makes it even more epic is that you could easily dress this down by whipping off that tie there (like he did a few pics down) and swapping out the slacks for a nice pair of darker-wash jeans. You could even ditch the blazer and still have a drool-worthy mansemble that was casual enough to wear just about anywhere (except for maybe the gym, the beach, your local landfill, your next big hunting trip, your first time scuba-diving, your first time sky…

Ok – after the doozy which was last week (Vegas for a business trip followed immediately by hosting my two best girlie friends for the weekend), I think my life will be jumping back onto its normal routine bandwagon. K boys: turns out there are times when wearing your Grandpa’s sweater (or the sweater you bought from H&M that looks like your Grandpa’s sweater) is unequivocally the RIGHT thing to do. This is one of those times. Mens fall fashion never looked better than when a cozy, warm, knit sweater was paired with light-hearted Sperry’s and a breezy pair of pants. Cuzzzzz turns out, you are. Thank goodness that your saving grace is Men. More specifically Menswear. More specifically MENSWEAR MONDAY! On the docket for today: a no-fuss mansemble perfectly suited for fall. Ya can’t go wrong with stripes, a good lookin’ pair of jeans (emphasis on the ‘good lookin’ part… as in, that pair of jeans you bought in 10th grade and still wear 3-5 times a week – mmyeah probably won’t get the job done), and a killer pair of man-shoes. Today’s subject: J.Crew for Men Guys, let me put it to you this way: jump on J.Crew’s website, take a gander at basically ANY mansemble on there, then feel free to COPY EXACTLY what you see, IF your desire is to look like a sexy-as-death man beast, that is.
