Ok you guys – Jack is almost 16 months old, which probably means that in a lot of mama’s eyes, he should be weaning off the pacifier, not trying out a new one. Buuuuuuut admittedly, we’ve dragged our feet a bit on relinquishing the mute button errrrr, pacifier, for all the obvious reasons. Teeeeensy lil’ bit excited for Fall
Sooooo, would you judge me a little if I told you that I’m secretly real excited for Fall? Not trying to hijack anyone’s final month of summer, but seriously – stores are already swapping their summer inventory for the Fall stuff and it got me real real pee-my-pants excited if I’m being totally honest. I LOVE FALL! Hashtag favorite season. I teamed up with Old Navy this month to show off my cute family in some Fall hued gems. Can I get a hallelujah-amen on this kimono style top I’m wearing? Maybe it’s my deeply seeded fear of having shaky bat-wing underarms (or does the term Relief Society arms mean anything to any of my readers? Can we have a good virtual laugh about that one if it does?), but shirt nirvana for me is definitely elbow length, loose sleeves like this one. Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is HERE!
You guys! After all the build-up it’s finally HERE! Public access to the best sale of the year (Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, duh). Pic above is a lil’ sneak peak of how I styled some of my fave purchases from the sale. I didn’t have time to pull together the full post (day job is nuts right now, but that’s a story for another time) but make no mistake about it: you need everything I’m wearing in that pic: the faux fur vest, the tunic (especially. put that baby on and just TRY not to buy it in three colors. I dare you.), and the jeans (can we way perfect distress?). The shoes aren’t part of the sale but they’re fab enough that you need them anyway (chunky heel equals comfy and Dolce Vita equals sexy as death).
