Happy Hump Day homies! I am finally, finally getting around to posting a gift guide – FINALLY! There’s gonna be more where that came from (pending that my job doesn’t literally kill me first – woof), but today’s GBO Gift Guide is ‘Gifts for Her, Under $50’. If you’re shopping for sisters, friends, mothers, mother-in-laws, or still just adding things to your own Christmas wish list (ahem, that would be me – Selfish Shanaynay over here), then hopefully these budget friendly items will provide some good inspiration for you. Who are you still shopping for guys? Fill me in!
It’s in the Details – Accessories First!
‘It’s in the details’ – we’ve heard that before, right? Remember how I used to feel a teensy bit awkward about planning an outfit around my accessories? Anyone else with me? You guys – I’m here to release you from the unnecessary burden of feeling weird about that, cuz turns out, it’s a thing! A completely acceptable thing, for that matter. I teamed up with Target to show you how accessories can totally transform an otherwise snooze-fest of an ensemble into something that looks chic and put together. My outfits here are case in point: a couple fair isle sweaters with jeans and boots isn’t the most revolutionary ensemble collation. Buuuuuut, with the addition of that killer faux fur infinity scarf and pop of color cross-body bag from outfit 1, OR the statement necklace, beanie, and festive forest green cross-body bag in outfit 2, these ensembs are having a much easier time being not-lame. And not-lame is what we’re going for, so huzzah! Other bonuses: while it’s not always this way with clothes, accessories can be worn again and again shamelessly, in a million different ways. Plus, their affordable price point makes them a great Christmas gift. Pluuuuuus, ALL accessories at Target are buy-one-get-one 50% off right now, so even more incentive to check it out.

Cold Weather Layers with Old Navy!
Happy Thursday friends! How was your Thanksgiving? Does anyone else feel like that was soooo long ago now? I do! What-the-Honkey, right? And remember how it’s already Christmas times? Christmas times, crazy times, but the most wonderful times of the year. I love this season. Chase and I went to Boise for Thanksgiving, and it was kind of everything – so crazy, so busy, so cold, but soooo fun. It was all the things. And I have to admit – I kind of loved having an actual reason to bundle up. This Idaho transplant in California honestly doesn’t miss the cold very often, but she does miss having a reason to layer up. I got that chance while we were home for Thanksgiving – we’re talking like 20 degrees peeps! It was COLD! We teamed up with Old Navy to get our layers on. They have so many cute things – coats, sweaters, scarves, gloves, and lots and lots of fair isle so you can get your festive on. And especially this month, they’ll basically be having sales all day urrry day. Score.

Staying Fit During Pregnancy, Part 3
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Nutrimom for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine. It’s update time again! I wanted to give you my third and final review of Nutrimom – the app I’ve been using to keep me from completely derailing in the nutrition and fitness department while prego. If you missed the first two posts about Nutrimom, you can read them here and here. One of the things I have loved has been Nutrimom’s subscription boxes. As part of the program, every month they send a subscription box, which has basically been a package full of healthy goodies to keep me fueled throughout the day. Bonus points that prenatal supplements were also part of that package (cuz let’s be serious – those babies get expensive!). I don’t know about you guys, but one of the reasons that eating clean is such a struggle while pregnant…
