Oh, and happy weekend! Husband and I (and of course baby Jack) are headed up to Tahoe today. Chase is running in the Tough Mudder on Saturday. Haha – poor buddy. He got mildly peer pressured into doing it by a few of his friends, and then he’s been so busy and traveling so much that he hasn’t been able to train for it basically at all. Sooooo needless to say, I may be nursing some wounds this weekend. Please just bless that he doesn’t get electrocuted or catch on fire during this thing. I think it’s bordering on asinine myself,  but hey – who am I to dismantle a guy’s manhood by telling him he shouldn’t run through mud and ice water and barb wire and active mines… for fun? I personally will be up there in the nice and safe spectator section, cheering the Chasee bear on. May God’s speed be with him so that this thing doesn’t literally kill him.
