So in these pics, don’t mind…
- My weird, lumpy looking boobs. Swimsuit. Blaming it on the swimsuit I was wearing underneath this dress. (I don’t actually have weird, lumpy boobs, ok guys? OK?!)
- The wildly unsavory look on my face in pic #5. Don’t. Ask. (but get a load of the background. Aren’t the colors fab? The whole of Cozumel looked like that.)
Happy Thursday homies! We’re back from cruise-times and evident by my silence on the internets, it’s been a wild, mildly depressing week of catch up and getting back to the grind. Hashtag WOOF. We had a wonderful time though. Aside from the fact that being away from my child for a full 8 days was honestly really rough (partly because we weren’t even really able to talk to him or see him cuz internet access barely exists in the middle of the ocean, turns out), getting alone time with husband, taking unlimited naps, and eating unlimited food (which is all I really cared about, let’s be serious) was simply divine. Bonus points that my husband’s family, who we were with for this cruise vacay (inlaw’s treat – am I dreaming?) are a total party and honestly the most normal, awesome individuals on the planet. Sooooo, yeah – this is me telling YOU to go on a cruise. Whatever you gotta do – start saving those pennies and DO IT. You’ll be so glad! (and in the name of finances, cruises are actually one of the most economically efficient ways to take a trip. All your food, lodging and entertainment in one place, included in the total cost. Plus they have shorter cruises (like 3-4 days) that are way cheaper but still wonderful. Just sayin!)
As for this Chicwish dress – isn’t it to die for? I wore it as a swimsuit coverup because it was a bit too short for my style otherwise (and I lived in my swimsuit the whole week), but if you’re not as concerned about that you could wear this as just a regular dress. It’s only $50 and there are a few still available. Hollah! Get that baby while you can HERE. I’d tell you more about what we actually did in Cozumel, but honestly you guys – does anyone even care about that? Does anyone read that kind of crap? We can be honest with each other. My guess is no, which is why I’m sparing you. You’re welcome.
p.s. There may or may not be a fatty little giveaway on my Instagram account this evening (6 pm PT to be exact) to the tune of $500 gift card to Nordstrom. Don’t miss it!
Hope your last couple of weeks have been so, so good. Have a Thursday!
Thanks for reading. xo

Isn’t Cozumel beautiful? I wish more places had such bold color on their buildings! Your dress and hat combo look wonderful.
