GBO Gift Guide: All Things BEAUTY!

Happy Wednesday! Ok. Today’s gift guide is for the beauty lovers in your life. Anything you  see above with an ice blue little heart on it is something I personally own and use on the regular, and love. Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that: my sister uses the Bobbi Brown ‘Smoky Eye’ mascara and swears by it, my mother uses the Bobbi Brown Moisture Rich foundation and swears by it, and one of my BFF’s just started using that neon egg-shaped beauty blender sponge thingy and said it has completely changed her life (and her makeup application experience). Oh, and I wasn’t able to link to the Julep eyeliners in the pic above, so you can get those here. I started using those recently and absolutely love them (been crushin’ on the plum color lately). So there you have it! Click on the items in the image above to be taken to where you can purchase.

p.s. Guys, do you know about Like to Know It? That thing that allows you to get links to clothes or products (like the ones in these gift guides) emailed to you so you know exactly where to buy them from? If you follow me on Instagram (or any other fashion blogger in the world), then you’ve probably seen it, read about it,  and even had it explained to you… and it probably still doesn’t make any sense! It can be confusing as death, but it doesn’t need to be! Here’s how it works:

First: You need to go to http://liketoknowit.com/ and SIGN UP.

Then: From Instagram, for any picture that you LIKE, an email will be sent to you. The email will contain links to where you can buy the items from the picture that you liked on Instagram (assuming that the blogger linked the images in the pic to liketoknowit. But don’t worry about that part! That’s the blogger’s job.).

Finally: You should receive an email from liketoknow.it with the links from all the pics that you liked on Instagram. Does that make sense? For the record, if you don’t receive emails, try searching for liketoknow.it. My gmail always filters these emails to somewhere other than my inbox (annoying). The subject should be ‘mylikes’ and it should be coming from liketoknow.it.
