That time when we went to the pumpkin patch and literally chased Jack around for an hour while he baby-sprinted through the whole place. You guys – this boy is at that stage where he does not hold still, for anything! Boyfriend was allllllll over the place (our poor photographer). That being said, the last time we were at this pumpkin patch, Jack was not even sitting up on his own, so it was suuuuuper fun to bring him back so he could really experience it. We love us a pumpkin patch! And we’ll be back for more before the season ends, fo sho! (side note: If you live in the Bay area, I highly recommend making the jaunt over to the East Bay to visit the Clayton Valley Pumpkin Farm. It’s uhhhhhhdorable.)
Notable things about these outfits:
- Chase is wearing skinny jeans you guys. Skinny jeans! Can we all just have a silent moment of reverence for this moment followed by wild applause and cheering for my husband’s willingness to branch out of his comfort zone and into the world of jeans that don’t look too big (#longestsentenceever)? I’m so proud of himĀ (and they really do look soooo much better, amiright?).
- This Old Navy dress I got on: Soooooo comfy. I realize some of the dresses I wear might only work for me length-wise because I’m a shorty (5’2), so my apologies on that if you’re someone who’s concerned about length! However, if you’re into this, I feel like this dress could be super adorbs over thick leggings or even super skinny black jeans and riding boots. Then perhaps length wouldn’t be quite as much a factor. Just sayin’.
- My booties: The best. They’re a bit of a splurge (around $130), but they’re such a classic bootie and super comfy. I can wear these pups all day long. I have them in three colors, soooooo… yeah. Pretty hooked.
p.s. – We found out the gender of our baby right after this little pumpkin patch visit. For those of you who followed along on Snapchat to find out what it was, huzzah and thank you! I got lots of comments from people who don’t have Snapchat (no judgment man – who needs one more thing?) that they still don’t know what we’re having, so here’s some reassurance that I’ll be announcing on Insta and Facebook (and here on the blog) real real soon! (in other words, I’m annoying. The end.)
