Instagram Roundup + Explaining LIKEtoKNOW.it

It’s been a while since we’ve done an Insta roundup, so hurr we go! If you feel like following along to see these types of posts as they happen, you can follow me on Insta here. And if you want to shop these pics straight from Instagram, you’re going to need an account with LIKEtoKNOW.it!

K guys – my guess is that most of you have heard of LIKEtoKNOW.it (LTK), but some may be confused on how it works. No shame! You’re not the only one! LTK can be confusing/annoying as H-E-double-hockey-sticks. So here are some quick instructions and tips that will hopefully help… 

Instructions for Using LIKEtoKNOW.it:

1. Sign up. Only requires your email address and name (i think?)
2. Once you’ve signed up, any time you ‘like’ a pic on Instagram that has @likeotknow.it in the caption (or a liketoknow.it URL), you’ll receive an email.
3. What’s in the email: an image of the pic you liked on Instagram, and then underneath that, images of all the products or items that the blogger linked to. When you click on the images of the products, it should take you to where you can purchase the product.

**IMPORTANT TIPS**

• If you use Gmail, it will probably filter your emails from LTK to junk or promotions. If you’ve signed up and you never see the emails come through, search in your email for ‘mylikes’ or for ‘likeotknow.it’. That should pull up the LTK emails. There’s about a 7-10 minute lag time between when you like the pic and when you’ll receive the email, FYI.
• The emails you get from LIKEtoKNOW.it will roll up into one email. What that means is that if you ‘like’ 23 different images on Instagram, you’re not going to get 23 separate emails in your inbox from LTK. You’ll get one email with a little number (23) by it, meaning you have 23 images with product links in there. This is so your inbox doesn’t get flooded with ‘mylikes’ emails! It will look like this:

• Most of the time bloggers (like myself) will try to link to the exact items they are wearing in the pic you liked. However, if an item isn’t available or is sold out, we may link to a similar item. Bloggers are the ones who link up the images, and we do the best we can! So just be aware that sometimes the items we’ve linked to may not always be the exact same thing we’re wearing.

Does that help? Please, please let me know if you still have questions. I don’t mind answering them at all because I know it can be confusing, for real. The last thing I want is for one of my readers to be frustrated and to just give up altogether! No bueno. K I’m shutting up now! Here’s the Insta Roundup!

About this vest: it looks like it’s going to be more of a fabric, legit herringbone material. In reality, it is a slick material and the herringbone is just a print. There’s kind of some initial surprise with that I think, but in the end it doesn’t change the look of this vest and I have absolutely loved it despite that and feel like it’s worth every penny. It’s such a good layering piece to add some texture and a really mild print that can go with so much. This sold out ridiculously fast as well last season. It’s available again HERE!

About these booties: They look kind of taupe colored in pictures at times, but they really are closer to a gray in my opinion. Adorable, but I was surprised by the color when I first got them. If you want a true taupe bootie, I’d recommend these. They’re lighter in real life than they look in pics, and they’re my absolute faves right now.
