Leopard Wedges

My baby turned six months old yesterday. SIX MONTHS you guys. No, I can’t believe it, and yes, I feel moderately depressed about it.

He’s getting so big and it’s all happening so, sooooo fast. Is this standard mom talk or what? But surriously. What I will say is that he’s definitely in the cutest phase of his life thus far. Babbling and giggling all the time and smiling his sweet little face off. It’s all I can do to keep myself from gobbling him right up. His latest trick: talking to himself when he wakes up in the morning and after naps. I’ll go peak at him and he’ll just be laying there, staring off into space, babbling away. I die. Secretly between me and you, if I could go back, I maybs wouldn’t have waited this long to start having babies. I mean, it’s not some major regret or anything, but now that I have my sweet babe, there’s at least a little part of me that feels like ‘what the H was I so afraid of?’ and ‘why the heck did I wait so long to do this?’  It’s hard and inconvenient and messy and exhausting, and I’m sure I haven’t even scratched the surface of any of that yet, BUT it’s also the funnest, most fulfilling, blissfully wonderful thing I’ve ever done. The End.

p.s. These wedges are worth every penny. So comfy and soooooooo cute, amiright? And I’ve been able to wear them with tons of things in my closet. Huzzah!
