It’s Menswear Monday, and about time we had another

Mansemble Study!

 

Today’s subject:

J.Crew for Men

Guys, let me put it to you this way: jump on J.Crew’s website, take a gander at basically ANY mansemble on there, then feel free to COPY EXACTLY what you see, IF your desire is to look like a sexy-as-death man beast, that is.  If that’s NOT what you desire, welllllllll thennnnnnnn I guess we have nothing more to say to each other here cuz I am officially judging you and shamefully shaking my head in your general direction.

Now let’s address the huge elephant in the room: oh just that time when everything at J.Crew costed like a million dollars.  Yeah – THAT elephant.  Here’s my advice gentleman – use J.Crew as an inspiration source or a point of reference – then go to the cheaper counterparts (i.e. H&M, Forever 21 (yes they have dude’s clothes!), even thrift stores!) and find items that mimic what you’ve seen on J.Crew.  Then, put them together in a similar way, and TA DA!  You’ve got a killer mansemble that didn’t cost you an arm and a leg but that will look like it almost did.

Now: watch, and learn…
