Y’all know that I’m a sucker for an epic, well-tailored men’s suit. Therefore, it seemed only appropriate to showcase some of the Oscars fashion from the menfolk at last night’s Academy Awards…

Sure, watching a bunch of tuxes on parade sometimes feels like I accidentally hit the repeat button on my remote control (do remote controls have those?), but I’ve come to enjoy mens Oscars fashion. It’s interesting to look for the stand-outs and the subtle differences in tailoring and style of all the suits. Even more fun to watch for the woof-triple-woof versions (yes, we’re talking to YOU Michael Strahan and Ryan Seacrest).
My favorite suit in this lineup? Zac Efron’s, surprisingly. I kind of love that he opted for the skinny neck tie instead of the bow in this instance. It was a subtle way to stand out from the crowd, and the tailoring of his suit was impeccable – let’s be serious. Personally NOT a fan of the white/black combo that Matthew McConaughey, Jared Leto, Ryan Seacrest and others rocked. Bah-ram-ewe. And don’t even get me started on Johnny Weir’s get-up. What the what?

I may not be a fan of Jared Leto’s suit, but that hair?? It looks better than mine and half the women I know. Jealous.
I could not take Johnny Weir serious the entire time he was announcing at the olympics, and man these pants are just as bad! But can we all say mmmmm John Stamos?

Thanks for posting men’s Oscar clothing for your post today! I know you do Menswear Monday every week, but I think this week especially was great because a lot of times people overlook how the men dress to these events but there were some greatly dressed men there! And everyone is always gushing about the women so I loved reading this! And Leonardo DiCaprio was one of my favorites! xo
