One Gift to Rule Them All

#Realtalk: I usually suck at being on top of things…and by ‘usually’ I mean almost always. This year has been especially bad you guys. Work has been soooo crazy lately (make it stop already), plus being a ragged, haggard prego with no energy trying to keep up with a blog and a little family on top of it has just about done me in. It’s all been enough to put me here in the middle of December with very little to show for the Christmas shopping I’ve done thus far. Womp womp. But the point I’m getting at though with this pathetic pity party story is that I’ve had to come up with ways to make gifting everyone on my list a little easier on myself. Solution? I’ve gotten several gals on my list the exact same gift – namely, that there adorable plaid scarf from Target. Yep! I did that. Now, how do you get three people the same thing without committing a major Christmas gifting party foul, you ask? You simply modify the details! Voila! I knew that all three of the girls on my list would love that scarf but would wear it in completely different ways, so I added a few little gifts to match their styles and personalities. Turns out gifting thoughtfully can still be resourceful and creative. Who knew?!

Here’s what I came up with…

Gift #1:

For my mama, who lives in Boise (which is frigid right now, hence the cutie mittens).
