It’s here! THE BEST SALE OF THE YEAR IS HERE you guys! Why is it the best sale of the year, you ask? Ohhhhhh just because Nordy’s rolls out all of the new Fall stuff and discounts it as much as 40-50%. HELLO?! YES people. Yes. This is a thing. Here’s the deal you guys: Beyond just the fun and games of a killer sale and treating yourself to something new, I honestly look at sales like this strategically. Here’s what I mean: *I* personally am not the gal who just has cash to burn, BUT I have genuinely learned to appreciate the value in buying quality over quantity, especially for certain things. For me, those are things like handbags, classic coats, jeans for sure, boots – basically the things that I can use over and over again without thinking twice and that I know will last me a loooong time without becoming obsolete as soon as the trends turn. Those are the things I’m willing to spend a little more money on. And you guys – I did not used to be this way. I was not raised to think like this, but I have learned from my own personal experience: there is truly something to be said for quality over quantity with certain things. Well what better time to make an investment on a staple item when it will be seriously discounted? Example: this beautiful Tory Burch bag in the perfect neutral colors is literally over $100 off right now. Hashtag worth it. WORTH IT!

5 Tips for scoring an “Out of Stock” Item

Happy Hump Day lovers and friends! Sorry for my empty promise of having this post up yesterday. I should just learn my lesson that unless the post is already done or close, I should keep my mouth shut! K well anywaaaaaays – let’s get to it. Today’s post is serious stuff you guys. Let’s be honest: is there any woman in the world who hasn’t had the experience of finding something you’re absolutely in love with, and you look at it and look at it – you may even put it in your cart – but for whatever you reason, you hesitate to actually pull the trigger and buy it? And then, when you go back again to look, suddenly it’s gone? Wait, what?! Sold out?! Out of stock?! Nooooooooooooo! Yes, you guys. Oh yes. It happens. Things sell out. ‘Why didn’t I just buy it when I first saw it?!’ you lament. But you didn’t. You didn’t buy it, and now you’ve missed your chance.

Dear 4th of July: We’re Ready for You

Happy almost July you guys! Now altogether now: “Where the H does the TIME GO?” Right? Tell me I’m not the only one feeling this way. Tell me I’m not only one asking myself how the poop it became JULY? Such is life I suppose. To that point, one of my favorite holidays is right around the corner… as in three days from now. Aside from the fact that I am an old-school, died in the wool, true-blue-through-and-through, proud-to-be-an-American patriot type and therefore I love the Fourth of July this holiday purely for the sake of what it celebrates, I also love that the Fourth equals BBQ’s, warm summer nights, sparklers, watermelon, parades, pancake breakfasts, lawn chairs lined up on residential streets to watch amateur fireworks, picnics, angel food cake with strawberries and mountains of whip cream, AND of course a completely valid reason for wearing three of my favorite colors all at one time: red, white and blue baby

Your Ta Ta’s Need This Bra

Is it possible for a bra to make you feel more beautiful and be so comfy that it almost feels like you’re not wearing one? I would have said no until I put on this little number and wore it all day. I’ve since become a believer. Have you heard of Bali Intimates? I hadn’t. To be perfectly honest with you, bras – especially the functional ‘every day’ kinds – just haven’t been something I’ve wanted to fuss with much. I have my default brand that I’ve stuck with and that’s been that. But my default brand is far from comfy, and it is exactly that – default. This Bali bra is helping me see the light though you guys. Soft and pretty colors (like this pale pink one in the pic) mixed with a fit that looks and feels great = say hello to my new favorite bra. Who knew that being comfy could make me feel so darn beautiful.
