To be honest I’m not one who can usually stomach those types of films. The movie ’12 Years a Slave’ for example? Not a chance. It was super intense and painful to watch, but it succeeded in teaching me more about the Civil Rights efforts of that time and heightening my respect and gratitude for it all. Just a quick outfit post today. This vest from J.Crew was a bit of splurge, but I’ll tell you what – I don’t even regret it. I’ve been wearing it like craaaaaay. Husband crushed it this Christmas. I mean, he may have had a little help from an outside source on what to buy for his wife (that outside source being, well, his wife), but boy did he do a great job of clicking those links I sent him and making sure the goods got delivered in time. Woot woot! Here’s the thing – I’m not one to shop at places like Piperlime all that often, cuz it can be pretty pricey.
