Soooooo, duck boots. Let’s talk about em’. It’s a trend that I had always admired on others but hadn’t really ever personally rocked, and then this year I just couldn’t keep myself away any longer. It was like they were quacking my name (get it guys? durrrrrrrrf!) and I had to give them a whirl. And turns out I loved them! I also realized that there are about a million and a half adorable ways to wear these bad boys. So in that spirit, I pulled together a whole bunch of outfit inspiration for how to wear your duck boots since there’s still plenty of season left to rock these beauts! I also rounded up a bunch of my favorite pairs below. If you don’t have any of these yet, I vote that you do the dang thang and get some. They’re comfy as can be and classic enough to make them worth the investment since you’ll be able to wear them season after season. Woot!

So, a long long time ago – namely, back in October (which feels like twelve years ago), husband and I went to this magical placed called Mammoth, CA to celebrate his birthday. Aaaaaaaaand I am just now getting around to posting the photos we took there. Goooooo ME! K, but in all seriousness, have any of you been to Mammoth/Yosemite before? You guys – it was breath taking. Maybe it’s the Idaho girl in me, but there is something about that terrain – the mountain, wilderness landscape – that just does it for me. More so than a beach or ocean, I have to admit. I was loving every minute of it.
