Hey all you GBO Fashion readers! I am Alycia from the blog Crowley Party. On the ocassion I blog about my personal style! I am so excited to be here on Shannon’s blog because I am a big fan of hers…. confession, I was a big fan of hers BEFORE I even knew she had a blog. You see Shannon was my ZUMBA Instructor! She is amazing, and can shake her thing, that’s for sure! Alas, she has left me, and now… I am not even kidding… I don’t go to Zumba anymore. I couldn’t handle her loss. Anyway, she asked me to answer some questions about my personal style, so here ya go!
How you describe your style?
I consider my style be pretty classic, while incorporating current trends and street fashion to bring it up a notch. I like having those classic basics as a foundation in my closet, and then adding the fun pop of unique pieces to spice it up. I also think you shouldn’t keep yourself defined to anything too specific. Personal style is an expression, and we can change that expression or feeling day to day if we want to! That is why I like to have the basics, so I can change the look with what I add to it depending on my mood 🙂

Forever 21, ASOS, Jcrew.
Where you go for fashion inspiration?
Honestly, fashion blogs! I like to see what real people are actually wearing! While I do gain inspiration from runway, or celebrities, sometimes the price point or the actual ability to wear the style in real life is a bit far fetched. So I like to look at runway and celebrities and take what I like and bring it down to a realistic approach.
Who are your fashion icons?
Love me some Zooey Deschanel! And even though I hated her on the The City (haha) I honestly die (literally, DIE) every time I see anything that Olivia Palermo wears. LOVE HER STYLE. Now if only I could have her budget…
Oh and can I say everything on Gossip Girls? Yeah… I will take all of that too. Speaking of Gossip Girls, I really Blake Lively’s personal style as well.
What is your ‘Go-To Uniform’ when you need to get dressed in a flash?
Jeans, cute flats, and a button up or t-shirt 🙂 Dress it up with a fun chunky statement necklace!
