Why do we love Nicole Richie’s style?

Because she can pull off so many different looks, & she does a dang good job of it too.  Here are a few of my faves…

Lessons Learned: Having great style doesn’t necessarily mean having complicated style.  I’m becoming more & more convinced all the time that it really is ‘in the details‘.  For exaxmpe: A lot of my favorite Richie Ensembles are extremely basic. But then add to that an amazing bag, a killer scarf, & a great pair of sun glasses, & suddenly it goes from basic to effortlessly chic. Get it? DETAILS. And btw, ‘amazing, killer, & great’ does not have to mean EXPENSIVE. Most of the items that I get the most compliments on are thrifted, & that includes the hand bags & clutches.  Anywho, I’m preaching to the choir here. I got a long way to go in mastering this technique myself, but it’s cool to think that great style can be derived from the basic of basics. Right? Woot Woot!
