Right before Christmas, our friend and photographer Kirsten took our family pictures. And in true Shannon Willardson fashion, I am somehow just now getting around to posting them. Ooops. But if you’re also wondering why I posted 700 of them, it’s because I just can’t help myself. This family of mine has me all sorts of obsessed and enamored and every other hyperbolic love word. I just can’t get enough of them.
p.s. Is it wrong that I love baby Jack’s frownie face almost as much as his little grinning face? There’s just something so irresistibly cute about that little face when it’s angry.

Beautiful! I was wondering if you might be willing to do a posts on your experience as a working mama. I go back to work soon and am so nervous about keeping our bond strong and having enough time with my little man. Thanks!
Megan – thanks for your comment sis. I have been meaning to do a post about this. I will FOR SURE. To immediately put your mind at ease, I will tell you that I was nervous about the same thing – and still sometimes am – but that nothing so far has caused me to believe that me working has had any kind of adverse affect on the bond I have with my baby or how much he loves me. 🙂 Do I long for more time with him? Absolutely. Does it bug me a little (or more than a little) that he spends more hours every week with his nanny than he does with me? Secretly, yes. That’s probably the most painful part. BUT, I have also experienced the perks that come with being a working mama. There ARE some of those too. And I’m not just talking about for YOU. I’m talking perks for you and your relationship with your baby, believe it or not. So long story long, YES! I’ll do a post about it. 🙂 Keep your eyes peeled! And thanks for reading! xoxo
