Guys, this is turning out to be one of those weeks where I am just getting owned. Like if me and the Week were in a boxing match, he’d be Mike Tyson and I’d be the dude with half an ear (Woof. Poor Evander). Room a total mess? Check. Barely keeping my head above water at work? Check. Haven’t exercised once this week yet? Check check. Sigh – it’s in these times that I find myself wishing that I was best friends with a robot (why can’t I find one of those?) who could do things vicariously for me and I’d still get the benefits. OR that it would become socially acceptable to be unshowered and bra-less and wear my pajamas everywhere I go. At the rate we’re going now, I’ll be jumping on the latter mentioned option in no time – socially acceptable or not.
Oh, you were wondering when I was going to stop mitching and boning? You were wondering when Complaining Constance was going to go get a life? Yeah, me too. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed.
In other news, my baby brother-in-law is heading off for TWO-YEARS to serve a mission for our church. He’ll be living in Argentina, spreading the good word. Truthfully that’s another thing making this week feel funky. We will miss that little guy. BUT, there’s nowhere else we’d have him be – turns out it’s a REAL good cause he’s going to be pursuing. Huzzah!
