My adorable parental units came into town on Saturday! So husband and I had to show them a good time in lovely San Francisco (natch).

I immediately knew two things: a) I needed comfy shoes, and b) I needed to be comfy in general. Period.

Ah, Sausalito. Enchanting little place you are. And mostly it was just soooooooooo nice to hang with my parents. Ya know? Do you guys still ever get like that? Where you feel a little bit like you’re five years old again and all you want is to be with your mommy and daddy and when they leave you feel like you’re gonna break into a full on ‘2 year old who just got left with the baby sitter’ shattered-heart cry of death?  Orrrrrr maybe that’s just me? At any rate, it was wonderful to see my parents. That’s it, that’s all.

And now it’s back to the grind! (womp womp)

  17. It was way fun hanging with you Miss Shannon!! And of course with Chase. Sometimes I wish you were still just 2,5,10 or 13 (well maybe not 13,16 or 17 was better :)) and still under our roof. Those were good times!! Shann was an adorable child, who grew up to be an adorable adult, who took us to this adorable and enchanting place called Sausalito. Wish we could have stayed longer. And I loved your look, it was definitely a GOOD!
