What does a loose fitting shirt + sucking in + photoshop equal? Disguising your 16-week prego belly as a small food baby instead of a real baby. Yep – that’s what’s happening in these here pics. Can we talk about how happy I am to have this out in the open now? Mostly because I’ve been dying to tell you everything I’m feeling and experiencing (i.e. 12 weeks of near-barfing, overnight porn-star boobs, and the weirdest (for me) cravings evs). Also I was getting real sick of having to suck it in and edit the crap out of my photos just to keep all of this a secret. I’m lettin’ it all hang out now peeps, so get ready!
Something you may or may not know about me: I have some addictive tendencies. Is it mildly creepy when I say it like that? Mmmmyes. But mostly what I mean is this: when I find something I love, I tend to love the crap out of it… in a mildly obsessive way. Take my husband, for example. Obsessed. Honey Bunches of Oats cereal? Addicted. And don’t get me started on what I used to be like with Diet Mountain Dew (peeps who know me from the days of yesteryear can confirm. It was alarming. I’m happy to report that I’ve given up the Dew… but it took getting panic attacks any time I drank it to get me there. Um, yeah – long story.)
Anywhoooooo, this outfit represents a few of my addictions – old and new. Polka dots: an old, tried and true obsession (this one I’m wearing is ON SALE right meow). You’ve already been warned that I’m obsessed with these Hunter Boots (last seen here). And this vest from Joules: my newest addiction. I have a feeling I’ll be wearing this baby allllllll fall/winter long. Pretty sure I’m obsessed with basically everything from this adorable company (check out the rest of their vests… and their jackets. You’ll die.).
