Yep. I’m obnoxious.
The truth is, I sort of love each of these items individually. I LOVE this sweater from H&M. It was $24.99, which is kind of a lot for this Chelsea-Cheap-Skate. BUT, it is soooooooo soft and sooooooooo cozy and such a great color and so right now, and mostly I figured that I would DIE – literally DIE – if I did not have it! So naturally, to avoid that, I brought it home with me. I mean, I BOUGHT it people – not like ‘I brought it home with me’ crumpled up in my purse, free of charge, Lindsay Lohan style. Turns out I’ve set a general rule for myself to avoid all things ‘Lindsay Lohanish’, ok? I mean, no offense to Lindsay. I’m sure she’s a lovely girl and all. Mmmmmk – this is getting awkward.
In case you’re still listening reading, I also love these heels from Urban Outfitters. For one, they’re orange (insta-win), comfy cuz of the chunkier heel, and I bought them on clearance – $19.99 these beauts! Crazy right? Oh and this necklace that I wear nonstop (last seen HERE)? Ya know – the one that every girl and their dog has and that you’ll see on EVERY single fashion blog in the whole wide world? The one whose REAL version costs $150 from J.Crew? Mmmmyeah – guess how much this bad boy cost me? $14! E-bay – what a wonderland. And yes I am nodding my head in agreement with you as you mock me for being a giant lemming-conformist with no individuality or personal sense of style. Guilty as charged maybe. But what if I just like it? So sue me.

Aaaaaaaaaaand sometimes THAT happens.
Thanks a lot Husband ^.
So what do you think peeps? Can you dig the Matchy Matchy?
Or is this a little TOO Matchy Matchy Matchathon for your taste?
Fill me in!
And THANK YOU for reading & following this wee, suckling little babe of a blog. I think we’re approaching potty training stage. Well, we’re at least thinking about switching from diapers to big-girl underpants.
I really have no idea what that was supposed to mean.
On that note…
Have a Tea & Crumpets Tuesday!
(ummm, what IS a crumpet? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?)

Love it. You are beautiful!
Love YOU Melissa Thometz!! xoxo
Maaaaaaybe just a little too matchy 🙂 But I definitely won’t make fun of you for the bubble necklace, because I like mine. And actually since everyone got tired of them (last week apparently), I haven’t seen them as much. So now you are like bringing the trend back. Congrats.
Sarah’s Real Life
Uh I have the J Crew Knock off necklace in 3 colors, haha! Thank you Ebay and China! I want that sweater btw :0)
I love matching. Maybe that’s why I don’t understand fashion. Yeah oh well! You look great and I really want that sweater!
Love your sweater! So cute! I love to match too..
This is like an outfit I’d wear. Except I’d probably wear a white skirt 😛 Soooo anyhooo I love it!

I LOVE the bracelets! I think the outfit is fantastic, but I would do it without the necklace… don’t get me wrong… I love the necklace, but a less bulky necklace may be better with this particular outfit. If I saw you in this I would think you looked fabulous, but since you’re asking us to pick you apart… 🙂
Matching is underrated, haha! My favorite part, honestly, is how the bangles bring together all of the colors perfectly. Cute, fun for pre-fall.

Thanks Brittany! I tend to agree that matching underrated. 🙂
A crumpet is a savoury griddle cake made from flour and yeast. It is eaten mainly in the United Kingdom and other nations of the Commonwealth. Just FYI. Here is more info. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crumpet (in case you are like me and have an obsessive need to know what everything is).
I’m digging this look! Love it!

Thanks Kacie!
Hi. I love your eyelashes…are they real or are you wearing fake ones? Seriously, you have some great lashes! 🙂
And, love the shoes!
Haha – Thanks Whitney! My lashes are one of the few things that I can say are NOT fake :). Fake tan, Fake hair color, Fake plenty of other things… eyelashes – not fake. It’s a good thing too – I KNOW I wouldn’t have the patience to apply falsies on a regular basis. 🙂
See, I thought that was the point was to match when you got dressed…shows what I know about fashion!
I love the color of that necklace and how thin and cute the sweater is!
xo Dina
i love it! I think you look great!
Love the outfit! But did you seriously roll up skinny jeans? How’s that even possible? Unroll them, Shanahan. 😉
You’re adorable. I do not think this is too matchy matchy 🙂 Question! How comfortable are those heels? I am pretty sure they carry the same ones all the time and I have been looking at them for a while. Would you recommend them? Thanks Shannon!
xo,
Amy
Amy! I WOULD recommend these heels. They are WAY more comfortable than your typical heel… chunkier = comfier! They’d be a good investment if you got them. 🙂
Just the other day I was picking out my outfit and I thought of pairing a shirt and skinnies and thought, “No, that matches too much.” It’s amazing how much of a shift there’s been in the fashion world. Just a generation ago if your bag and shoes didn’t match it was atrocious. You’ve given me the courage to match again, so thanks. Also, thanks for following my blog!
I don’t even hate it. But I’d like it better without the bracelets. Sometimes, less is more.
why does your face look as smooth as butter? I am jealous. and pizza faced. Not the food you want your face to replicate.
there is nothing wrong with matching!! personally, i’m a fan. i think this outfit looks great! x
Love the outfit!
you look like a classy and prettier version of blake lively!
Haha – I WISH Sasha! But thanks girl 😉
I just discovered your blog and all I can say is I LOVE it!!! Not to mention the fact that I absolutely love this outfit! I’m obsessed with turquoise and I totally wish that I had your sweater!! Can’t wait to read more of your musings!
