Talk about ruining a great thing eh? But turns out I just haven’t solved the mystery of how to cover all my biznuss when I’m wearing a sheer blouse like this without having it look somewhat ridonkulous, as seen here. I’ve heard that a NUDE colored undershirt as opposed to white might be more the way to go? What say ye?

I be on my way to Chicago today for a meeting! While I’m devastated any time I have to leave my total rockstar of a spouse, can I secretly admit to you guys that I’m actually kind of excited for this trip (don’t tell husband)? I’ve never been to the windy city! And even though I probs won’t get to see any of it because it’s a quick trip and I’ll be in meetings the whole time, at least I’ll be able to catch a glimpse (hotel is downtown) and I can say I’ve been there. Something you may not know about me: anywhere I’ve never been is somewhere I want to go….more or less. I. Heart. Traveling. You can follow along via Instagram if such a thing would suit your fancy! Nude shirt under a sheer blouse is the way to go! I have a few in different shades and they are way less “in your face” then a white shirt is. Love the blog and your style!!

I LOVE that yellow pencil skirt! The t-shirt isn’t bad at all – I usually go with a white tank under sheer blouses, but I’m with you – I’m not really sure how to deal with it. All I know is that no undershirt is a bad idea 🙂

It’s actually a really nice outfit. The white tee doesn’t look terrible, but you can always cover it up with a cardi and no-one would even know. 😛
LOVE the shoes and the blouse! Try a nude seamless tank underneath. Here in Australia a brand called Country Road do a great one but I’m sure you would have an array of options State-side. Love the blog btw!

I’ve found that the nude tees are more subtle, so I usually opt for that…but it doesn’t look as bad as you probably think it does. Plus, that blouse is super cute!!!

I agree with whoever says nude tank – that’s my solution for white shirts, too – a nude bra!! I only have 2 and if they weren’t so boring I would probably have more, haha. They go under anything! I also have this top and find that a black tank works well underneath, too. You’d think it’d look funny since the top is navy but somehow it works. I never would have tried it but I was wearing a black tank the day I tried it on in store. Who knew? 🙂
