Cool: being hungry and heading for delicious Indian food to feed the inner beast.
Not cool: being hangry (hungry + angry) and heading to Indian food to feed the inner beast, only to find that you somehow picked the worst, worst Indian food restaurant in all of Berkeley, CA even though Yelp told you it would be awesome. Guys – is there anything worse than that? You’re ravenous and on the verge of turning into the incredible Hulk, and then you think of the type of cuisine that will totally hit the spot, only to wind up in an Indian restaurant where the food tastes like it’s fresh out of a cheap cafeteria. So. Depressing. We literally took two bites before we called it quits and headed to Chicken & Waffles. Now THAT place never disappoints! If you live in the Bay area (or other places too?), go try it out. It will knock your underpants off.
Husband took this pic right before we walked into the crappy Indian food restaurant. Aren’t my parents the cutest? I’m obsessed with them. And mostly by that I mean that I spent the whole day yesterday feeling like a Melancholy Melanie because they left on Sunday. Sigh… I hate goodbyes! (name that movie?!?! Hint: it’s from one of the best flicks of all time.)
Sooooo, I guess the REAL question here is, GBO?
p.s. Don’t forget to enter the JewelMint Giveaway while there’s still time!
Will you just get a load of ^ these two ^? Are they not to die for? Love them so so much.
Aaaaaaand sometimes THAT happens. Awesome.

Thanks for reading you beauties.

I actually really like this outfit with your brown sandals! The pink heels are fun, but the sandals match the “vibe” better, I think.
Glad you got to spend some quality time with your parents. 🙂
